What interactions can I add
This guide demonstrates how to enhance VidVersity videos by adding interactive questions, downloadable resources, pop-up notes, glossary terms, slides, subtitles, and transition effects positioned across the video timeline.
Step by step
Step 1: Add Interactive Questions
Navigate to the interactive options beneath your created chapter, select Add Question, and choose your preferred interaction type (True/False, Single-Choice, Multiple-Choice, Fill in the Blank, or Drag & Drop).
Step 2: Upload Resources
Add supporting materials like Microsoft Suite files (Word, PowerPoint, PDF) or web URLs.
Step 3: Adjust Resource Library Settings
Check the box if you want the resource to pause the video when it appears, or leave it unchecked to simply make it available in the resource library.
Step 4: Insert Notes & Handouts
Add on-screen notes that pause the video during playback. These automatically aggregate into a downloadable handout at the end.
Step 5: Include Glossary Terms
Add key definitions to populate the printable glossary library for learners.
Step 6: Attach Slides
Insert slide decks into the timeline, which will pause the video to let learners read through the material.
Step 7: Configure Subtitles
Add subtitles that overlay on the video while playback continues uninterrupted.
Step 8: Set Transitions & Timeline Placement
Add video transitions and use the timeline to specify exact timestamps for when each element should appear.
